We look at an article from MLive describing the plummet in teacher pay in Michigan over the last 30 years and how Kalamazoo city commissioners are skeptical over a ballot initiative that will make the city assemble a 'Healthcare Action Committee.'
Residents in Gary have been without power for two weeks. We discuss the scale of the disaster, the systemic racism and classism it represents, and how one of the biggest natural disaster fumbles since Hurricane Katrina is getting little media attention.
We talk about Jocelyn Benson and Winnie Brinks' run for governor and how both their platform and their donor roster promises more of the same. However, if you judge her only on conservative attack ads, Benson is an ANTIFA terrorist who once worked with the radical outfit (checks notes) the Southern Poverty Law Center? We also look at the senate race and how Mike Rodgers is trying to have it both ways with AIPAC- trying to keep their presence out of the race but keeping their money in.
Nazi dork Jake Lang tried to disrupt Dearborn last week and was met with pushback from both local residents and even some conservative Michiganders who are telling their ideological fellows "don't believe the hype."
We close with several quick hits on topics ranging from the WNBA to DTE's attempt to stop Ann Arbor from moving forward with a municipally controlled power utility.
