The biggest No Kings yet brought 8 million Americans into the street and about the same number of online posts, comments, and arguments about them. While the rallies themselves aren't radical and the 'sheep-dogging' of energy into the centrist wing of Democratic Party politics is apparent the individuals involved and bringing signs to the streets- some for the first time- are open to new ideas and real organizing.
We then give you a brief update on the state of affairs at the People's Food Co-Op. An article from the Kalamazoo Gazette highlights how KDPS is serving homeless individuals in the city and we critique the 'copaganda.'
Michigan Republicans are targeting RX Kids, a program that provides financial support for new mothers and children, with slanderous lies. One accuses it of being co-opted as an abortion "pump and dump" scheme and another brings anti-immigrant xenophobia into the mix. Both expose a contradiction on how "family values" politicians value families actually being provided with resources.
We close the show looking at two stories about how the Israeli and U.S. government are targeting journalists.

We start by looking at a needed increase in mental health resources in Michigan and walk through the history of how we got to a deficit of care in the first place.
Lawrence joins us to discuss the debacle in Iran and how AIPAC is feeling electoral fallout from Israel's belligerence.
Grands Rapids residents rallied at the GRPD to demand justice for Da'Quain Johnson, slain by police. Lawrence recounts his experience at the demonstration and we talk through important issues of solidarity and movement energy.
Robert Mueller passed away and we discuss his legacy- both as FBI director and later as a lightning rod during the first Trump administration for liberal media coverage largely around "Russiagate." Did the hyperfocus on the Mueller investigation by "BlueAnon" take precious time and energy away from organizing against Trump's authoritarianism and casual law breaking?*
Chuck Norris passes away and we look at the gulf between his personal beliefs and his legacy as entertainer and martial artist. The Academy Awards just took place- me and Lawrence really liked Sinners and have some grievances and analysis about best picture winner "One Battle After Another."
Afroman fought the law and he won.
